If you were one of my coaching clients, I would start most if not all of our meetings by asking, “What were your wins this week?”. It’s a good way to focus on what’s positive and it sets the tone for our meeting. It’s also a good way to help clients think a bit more deeply about what is happening in their lives.
Today, you are going to do a similar exercise as we reflect on 2025. Basically, there are 2 questions for you to answer today:
What “worked” for you this year?
What DID NOT “work” for you this year?
Certainly, you can look at the items on your list and note the successes and failures, the good and bad, but think a little deeper than that.
Look at your processes, habits, schedules, etc. and identify the things that helped you in some way AND identify the things that hindered you. Recognizing those things is POWERFUL and you’ll be happy to have those in mind when we get to the next step in the process (next week).
